May 3, 2010 marks the beginning of the Festival and we invite you to the Opening Night Launch at Factory Studio Theatre. The festivities begin at 7:00pm and include Obscura, an installation by Camellia Koo, a welcome from Artist Director, Nina Lee Aquino, the first Artist Panel entitled The Asian-Canadian Canon? and excerpt readings from Love and Relasianships. Co-presented with Playwrights Canada Press and sponsored by our friends at Epicure Café and Grill, it is a packed night that is sure to start the Festival off right! Attendees include Senator Vivienne Poy, leading theatre academics and artists from across Canada, and the community - that means you!
