Writers' series looking for writers

he Brockton Writers Series is a new monthly literary night held at Zoots Cafe (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=115054399574&ref=ts) in Toronto's Little Portugal neighbourhood on the first Tuesday of the month, from 7-9pm.

Our aim is to highlight the work of emerging and published writers who live and work in the Brockton neighbourhood (which is the areas within Gladstone-Lansdowne, Queen to College, but we're flex about geography!). We program three fabulous writers and reserve some time at the end for open mic. All genres welcome. There's lots of time for neighbourly mingling and to chat one-on-one with the writers.

Are you a writer who lives in and around Brockton in Toronto? We're currently accepting applications for our next dates: November 3rd and December 1st. Open mic readers don't need to apply--just show up 10 mins early to sign up. Contact farzanadoctor@rogers.com with some details about you and your writing.
